The weekends are "free" for the students. They are encouraged to go out and explore London and the surrounding environments. To soak up culture and to keep a watchful eye on design.
A few of the students went to Cambridge (the university was established in 1209 AD/CE) with professor Chimenti on the fast train (no stops) from Kings Cross station. The trip took them through long dark tunnels and rolling countryside. Then everyone walked into the historic town for over 20,000 FitBit steps enjoying a museum, the various colleges, shops, beautiful surroundings, and the famous King's College Chapel - one of the greatest monuments of perpendicular architecture built between 1446 and 1515.
